We help african developers build tools and solutions to help businesses and individuals. We champion the use of CMS technology, open source software while also offering critical commentary on premium & freemium technology. . .

We collaborate between tech companies, governments, international agencies, and learning institutions, and partner with organisations that would like to make their solutions reach more Africans.  We believe that there are many tech tools and solutions that are hidden on the internet. We increase access to technological tools and solutions through specific projects, events, and online campaigns.

cms africa summit 2023 event dates have been announced!

CMS Africa is a premier African event that rotates around African cities. It has been held in Kampala (Uganda), Abuja (Nigeria), Kigali (Rwanda), Nairobi, Kenya, and Cape Town South Africa.

At CMS Africa, we care about how websites run. Websites that run on many CMSes that we love such as WordPress, Joomla! Drupal, Typo3 and other custom CMSes have a challenge when it comes to Social UX media, high reach, high engagement, and loyalty.

Together with our main partner, Google, CMS Africa is inviting developers across Africa to help contribute to share knowledge on these popular (traditional CMSes) so that we can realize a more scalable, highly secure, and iterative CMSes.

This is understandable because the core of these CMSes were developed before many technologies such as social scheduling, Apple News, Native  Email Integrations,  or instant articles.
